Course Objective
This training focuses to the study of solid-state devices their usage in different circuits. The program includes the description of basic conditions for successful firing and commutation of power electronic devices for the purpose of using them in different power electronics circuits as controlled rectifier, DC and AC chopper, inverter circuits and motor control. After the training, the participant is able to analyses power electronic circuits, to interpret block and circuit diagrams of power electronic devices, to integrate power electronic devices in industrial control applications and to inspect power electronic circuits, find basic faults and repair them.
